How to make a short movie trailer

This post is for those who are keen to make short intros with ease and limited softwares which require less effort. If you do not know flash, then you have an option to make an intro in imageready. Imageready used to come as an independent software but now it has been integrated in adobe photoshop cs2 and later.
Photoshop's inbuilt imageready feature allows users to make beautiful layer on layer animation.
Just go to windows options and click animation.
A slidebar will open, add new frames and start working with layers, now you just need to work on main frames. The rest of the frames which are also called inbetweens will be automatically made by the push of just one button present at the bottom of the imageready framebar.

Andromeda trailer is an image ready made video. Photoshop has an often of render video in the file menu. From their one can select the video format.

*If you want to edit the video or want to add any sound, then you must save it in .avi.

Now add the video and audio in any video editing software. you can use windows movie maker if you are a beginner. Save the project and enjoy watching the movie trailer in your media player, or TV.

To convert any video format, you can also use total video converter, it works great.

Software that used:
