A new start

It all begins with the day when I thought of doing a masters after a bachelors degree in finearts. I think my knowledge is limited and i felt a need to gain more of it with time. I gave an entrance of MIT institute of design. Never thought that I would be able to make it so far. Finally my days of staying at home with my parents were going to get over. Is it a good thing or not, I don't know. But somewhere in my mind I was having mixed feelings, at one moment I was scared of things that are coming ahead and on the other there was some sort of satisfaction that I have grown up and become independent.
A day, the bell rings and a courier is received by my aunt. It was just a normal day of mid of summer when I was enjoying holidays looking around for things that entertain or interest me. I mostly spend much of my time sitting in front of my computer playing games and watching movies all day. my aunt hands over the letter to my mother. Mom immediately realizes that something is important in it. The name of the institute and logo was there on the envelope. I immediately take the letter from my mother and start tearing the envelope impatiently. I was seriously hoping for a good news and i was pretty sure that I would get selected because my extrance exam was really nice and I rocked in the interview, (thats just my perception,haha). But sometimes it happens no matter how much sure you are, you are still uncertain about things, things of surprise and unexpectible situations.I take the paper out of the envelope and quickly start looking for the most important line followed by 'congratulations'. and It happened, like a miracle, I got a selection letter from MIT institute of Design. PUNE, here I come.
